Thus the Israeli google page, hence the for us weird characters and the "right to left" text

The .il domain is Israeli, one of their official languages is Arabic, which is read right-to-left; and so google displays the site in that mode too.

Thank you razzler and james. This was really new for me. Now I understand what that look is for.
But you know I understand arabic well. I do not think this is arabic!?

oh yeah that's definitely not arabic.
They speak hebrew in Israel.. so im guessing it's probably supposed to be hebrew.
And the characters are just the computer not being able to interpret/recognize them.
