This Article Is Sponored By You! | Sunday, February 18, 2007 by Salman Siddiqui | CommentsI am now blogging on my self hosted blog CompuWorld and started another blog of mine the Senorita
And now you will see Google in your television too! Google Me The Movie, a documentary feature film is now in production.
Cast and Crew
Jim Killeen - Executive Producer/Director
Jim is a native of Detroit and attended college as a theatre major at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he studied all aspects of theatre production with an emphasis on acting.
Jeannie Roshar - Producer
Jeannie hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she started studying improv with ComedySportz at age fourteen. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has appeared in Dropping Out with John Stamos and Jason Reitman’s Gulp, both official selections of the Sundance Film Festival. On television, she did a pilot for Merv Griffin Entertainment, The Court of Common Sense with Joe Rogan, TBS’s The Movie Lounge, as well as appearances on MTV and the Travel Channel.
Fletcher Murray - Executive Producer
Fletch has directed and produced over 30 documentaries, 26 on film. They have appeared on ABC, CBS and the History Channel. Five won national awards: Chicago Film Festival, National Academy of Western Art, and three Telly Awards.
The "Google Me" project heads in the direction of world peace. Fletch likes that.
"The documentary is my first love. It's the closest the arts get to Truth. In Jim's movie, a man reaches out to another man, and another, and another. Fear recedes, replaced by Trust. This is the road we must walk together if we're ever going to move on to the better things we can make of this life. Jim's documentary is showing the way. I had to be a part of that."Kim Furst - Editorial Consultant
The real story of a documentary is found in the editing room. Kim Furst is the editor of well acclaimed documentaries One Six Right and Rocket Challenge as well as many theatrical trailers. She brings with her extensive experience of helping the director find the strongest story in the footage.
Jeff Murphy - Director of Photography
Jeff made his way from Macon, GA to Los Angeles back in 1985. While tending bar in an Irish Pub and studying film at Valley College in 1988, he was offered a job as a runner on a film shoot. More jobs soon followed, and before long he was learning more on the job than at school, so he quit school and started working full time at The Association in Burbank. He’s been there ever since, working his way up to camera operator and Director of Photography. He’s been shooting for the past ten years, and having a blast doing it.
If you want to view the trailer of the upcoming documentary, you should click on this link for the large size (480 x 270, 49.7MB), on this page for the medium size (320 x 180, 24.5MB) or here for the small size (240 x 136, 16.4MB).
